WebUCSF Chimera is a program for the interactive visualization and analysis of molecular structures and related data, including density maps, trajectories, and sequence alignments. It is available free of charge for noncommercial use. Commercial users, please see Chimera commercial licensing . WebChimeraX can be used with virtual-reality (VR) headsets and hand controllers, 27 and it supports multi-user sessions and recording augmented-reality videos. Functions can be assigned to VR hand-controller buttons using the Toolbar mouse-mode icons. VR features are described in more detail in subsequent parts of the paper.
