Better teaching of younger neurologists is needed as well as prospective research focusing on pathophysiology. WebFND is a clinical diagnosis – which means that we make the diagnosis based on a physical examination or, in the case of functional seizures, getting a detailed description of the events along with brain wave (EEG) data in some instances.
