I noticed today that the coolant overflow tank was empty and there is some white residue on the overflow filler tube and inside the tank. See photo below. I haven't noticed any coolant leakage on the driveway. The radiator is full and coolant looks normal (clear/green). WebJun 20, 2016 · Radiator hoses can develop pin holes that will do the same thing. You can warm the car up with the hood open and wait to see where coolant comes out. Be careful not to get sprayed with hot coolant though.
