After trying many different combinations, I've settled with Scout/Consular. Scout for the implant feats and the skills, and Consular for the extra Force powers and points. You can put a few skill points into persuade to get you through the early game then pick up force persuade as a Jedi. To answer your question, scoundrel gives you more skills so you’re less reliant on your companions and soldier gives you more feats so your stronger overall. 4 grasshopper sign of good luck
